Mr. John M. Robinson, President

The Texas Group, Inc.
During the past 35 years, John has gained extensive experience with over 200, Fortune 500 clients in the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Europe. He held key leadership positions in Management Services, where he was responsible for annual operating budgets in excess of $11M. John managed union and non-union staffs of over 200 employees. He transitioned into Industrial, Commercial, and Manufacturing National Account Sales, and later, Environmental Services. John consistently exceeded established sales goals, with his largest single sale to date of $12M.
John earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Management & Organization Development from Spring Arbor University in Spring Arbor, Michigan in 1998 and is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in the discipline of OD. He is also a Registered Organization Development Consultant (RODC).
In 2008, John left corporate America to start his own consulting practice. His personal drive and passion for serving clients and their employees with excellence is what inspires John most in his professional life.
He is self-motivated, analytical, creative, and passionate about his work. He maintains a high level of energy and enthusiasm and displays a leadership style that embraces the value and dignity of every person in the organization. He effectively communicates at all organizational levels and has the ability to build lasting, authentic, personal and professional relationships.
John is the creator of the “Selling Dynamics™ Sales Training Seminar,” and published his first book, “Where’s My Cape? Becoming a Superhero…Again” in 2012, available at Amazon.com and on Kindle.
He is a natural leader, coach, mentor, and friend, and enjoys helping people realize their full potential. John understands the contribution that each person brings to the organization. He works carefully to extract and cultivate their greatest skills and strengths, empowering them to maximize their contribution to their employers, families, and communities in which they live and serve.

Mr. Ryan T. Searles

As Vice President, Risk Management for The Texas Group, Mr. Searles develops customized curriculum on topics ranging from Work Place Violence Prevention, Active Shooter Response Training, self-defense, OSHA, CPR, weapons, and tactics. He possesses a comprehensive background in complex problem-solving and relationship building derived from conducting domestic and global operations across five continents. Mr. Searles has managed risk upon multiple lines to protect life and safety, critical infrastructure, as well as high-value property and equipment.
Ryan conducts corporate training, Vulnerability, Threat & Risk Assessments, Loss Prevention Consulting, and Policy and Procedure writing, which he has done for numerous Fortune 100 companies. Mr. Searles brings more than 16 years of professional experience in “in-the-field” security, force protection, and risk management for multiple-jurisdictional responses at local, state, regional, and national levels. He is credited with measurable accomplishments, including leading tactical teams of 90+ personnel in dynamic, fast-paced environments. Mr. Searles is a Certified ALERRT Instructor, and is certified to teach Medical, Civilian, and Law Enforcement Response to Active Shooter Emergencies, Firearms, and Conflict Resolution, to name just a few. Ryan contributed to the development of ASIS International’s Active Shooter Response Training, which is still in use today.
A recipient of multiple Purple Hearts and service-related accommodations, Ryan understands the sacrifices required to ensure our nation’s freedom. While serving in the U.S. Army, he also received several medals for outstanding performance and professionalism. Experienced beyond his years, and a man of high integrity, Ryan remains personally driven to protect others.

Dr. Mark Jones, LMFT

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Dr. Mark F. Jones is the Founder and President of South Texas Liberty Alliance Group. Liberty Alliance Group was founded in 1992 as a group practice consisting of LPC's, LMFT's, LCSW’s, Licensed Clinical Psychologists, Child and Adolescent Psychiatrists, as well as Certified Faith Based Counselors. We are committed to offering therapy and counseling to enable each client to resolve their situation and find freedom from past and present obstacles in life. Dr. Jones has been married to his lovely wife, Theresa since 1981 and they have 4 adult children and grandchildren. Dr. Jones’ second passion is singing; you may have heard him singing at Cornerstone Church, GETV world-wide broadcast, singing the National Anthem at various community events including the San Antonio Livestock Show and Rodeo or the Texas Governor’s Prayer Breakfast.

Mr. Donovan C. Fikes, CFS

By turning the tragedy of breaking his neck at age 17 into a story of success, Donovan has developed a unique skill set that helps his clients build retirement and estate plans through thick and thin. To live independently as a quadriplegic your whole day, week, month, and even year requires planning ahead, otherwise you could literally go without eating or getting out of bed in the morning. For Donovan, financial planning has become more than just a byproduct of his education and vocational experience—it’s evolved into a sixth sense. When building a solid financial plan there are many variables to consider and Donovan’s unrivaled ability to analyze complex systems helps him limit pitfalls and develop strategies to ensure his client’s success decades in advance.
After a diving accident at the beach left him paralyzed him from the shoulders down, Donovan came to San Antonio for rehab and fell in love with the city. He enrolled in the University of Texas at San Antonio, moving to campus directly from the hospital. While there, he studied history, psychology, education, and finance, as well as playing and coaching the nationally ranked San Antonio wheelchair rugby team. He retired from rugby after finding the love of his life, Kirsten. Outside of work they stay busy raising their beautiful twin daughters, participating in church activities at Summit Christian Center, and spending time with friends and family.
Less than a month after graduating he started Fikes Financial Services with the primary goal of educating his clients. With a proven track record of helping them achieve success, Donovan has garnered the 2015 Wealth Manager of the Year Award, multiple Leaders’ Club qualifications, a Blue Chip Circle qualification, a place in Fortune, Business Week, and Money magazines, as well as roles on development committees for future financial products and technologies. The most often heard response upon starting a relationship with new clients that he never gets tired of hearing is, “This makes so much sense! How come I’ve never heard this before?”

Mr. Bradley Stroud

Bradley Stroud is President and CEO of StroudLink, LLC., a full service PEO (Professional Employer Organization) or Human Resource Outsourcing brokerage firm. Bradley was born and raised in North Texas in the small oil town of Electra on July 17, 1960. After receiving his Bachelor’s degree in 1988, Bradley moved to San Antonio. He ultimately began his career in the PEO industry in 1997. Bradley worked for several of the top PEO firms learning the industry before starting his own independent brokerage service in June 2005. His vision was to stand with business owners across the country, of all industries, no matter their size or situation, and find the best solution for their unique needs. As a result, StroudLink is a national brokerage firm based in San Antonio, TX and is now reaching internationally, from Mexico to Dubai. StroudLink represents many of the top PEO services in the nation. Its client base includes virtually all business and industry types, sizes, and demographics from the medical and legal field, to construction and the oilfield.
The company’s focus is to help businesses lower labor cost and additional exposures, specifically in the areas of payroll, worker’s compensation, risk management, health and retirement benefits, government compliance, and Human Resource support.
The mission and focus of StroudLink is “Linking businesses to Solutions.” As a result, a new division was formed in March of 2014 for commercial Real Estate, called StroudLink Realty Services. The objective is to address the two major liabilities and financial exposures for business owners, namely labor and occupancy cost.

Although Bradley feels very grateful for his business, his greatest accomplishment is being blessed with three wonderful and successful children who have provided him with six perfect grandchildren!
